I have just lost 7 lbs couple weeks right now and I am trying to lose more I need to reach 155lbs by June.
Can someone help me in here?

Welcome from another niewbie. I am about 40 lbs down from my highest weight of 210(ish). I'm 5'5, and would like to get down to 150, fit, toned, and energetic. I have recently fallen off the wagon, so came here looking for inspiration to continue my journey.

Hello,
so you are just like me,I used to weight 216lb and I went down to 192lb,'
I do work out right now, the minimum a day is an hour of elliptical at lunch time, sometimes I go an hour at lunch time and an other hour at 5pm, so I try to work out twice a days, I need to lose the weight by June.
for the food, I do eat 3 times a day, I eat Special K with Strawburries at Breakfast time, and try to eat some veggies at lunch with Turkey Sandwich and same thing for dinner and I try to eat some fuits like Apples.
so how about you we can be partners here lol, I really need some motivation.

Love to! I am unable to work out right now, have bronchitis and *may* have bruised a rib yesterday. I am getting antsy though, can't wait until I can breathe and move again!

I need to eat more regularly. I have to force myself to eat breakfast, as I'm generally not hungry when I wake up. Right now I'm having 8 oz of kefir in the morning, I figure something is better than nothing.

So what's going on in June, as you seem to have set a definite target. I don't have any specific time frame in mind, just want to get back to where working out is a part of my lifestyle again, everything else will fall into place.

Hello, Fit for Me! Welcome to the forum.

Hope your bronchitis clears up fast. Had that a few weeks ago. Luckily it didn't get too bad.

I am sure you will be back to your old self and will begin getting back into a healthy routine again.

Welcome, hend118!

I am sure you will find much inspiration and information at this forum.

Good luck on your quest...

Sorry to hear about that you cant work out right now. June is my brother's wedding and I need to drop this weight so I can fit it in a nice dress that I like.:hurray:

That sounds like a good goal. I want to be able to fit back into all the size 8 pants I have hanging in my closet. Dang but I looked good in those... ;)

My fever broke last night, and chest is beginning to clear. My ribs still hurt, but am keeping that in check with motrin. I honestly think I may be able to work out early-ish next week at this rate!! :hurray:

What are your favorite workouts?

How much 4 stone in pound because I dont know lol I know it sounds silly though.
just keep reading this from this site and trust me you will do it, you just have to start eating healthy and working out, I think you will lose weight, that is what I am doing right now.

I love jumping rope. I do it at home while watching tv. It is a great cardio workout and is about the only workout that has given me a bootie... :reddevil:

I also recently bought the Zumba series, and am excited to be able to start them, even though I am hopelessly uncoordinated... I'll just flail along, I suppose!

Still too cruddy to workout much, so I've been trying to make sure I at least get more walking in.

How is your week going?

Help! i need advice

Hello Hendi,
Its 56 pounds i need to lose, my scales need new batteries, not sure whether to get weighed in at boots. What do you think for accuracy? my diet starts Monday, i am not as nervous as i was about a week ago, i guess this site is full of encouragement and if i get stuck someone here will know a answer for me [i guess]. I bought special k for my breakfast today, i hate cereals but i need to start to like them, not sure whether to have them for my lunch as well and a proper meal at tea time, what do you think? thanks a new dieter ready to fly by Monday

My week is going pretty good so far, the only thing is I worked out only once not twice as I usually do, but I will go back to twice (2hours) next week.

As far as I know, the best time to weight yourself is, early in the morning when you take a shower, step in on the scale and weight yourself, then try to weight yourself twice a month that is it, because the scale wont more everysingle day, and it you weight yourself like that, you will be discourage. that is what happened to me, so now I weight myself twice a month.
Special K is the best thing to eat in the morning, dont eat it at lunch time, you have to have some Vegitables and fruit.
try to eat 6 meals a day but 6 SMALL meals and you will be good.

Thanks for the tips Hendi i will bear it in mind, i am feeling alot more positive about my diet and realizing i am coping well on my own, its hard also when you have to cook for the family but they are being so good about it, i am amazed. I have changed to weight watchers bread and you know what i am begining to like it and i am really proud of myself that i have not been eating as much bread, cut out my wine, crisps and dips, and my secret binge b4 tea at mcdonalds. WOW! thats such a change but you know what i am amazed at such hoe much i eat and what i need to sort out now. Best of luck x :hurray:

It is all in your mind, once you set up in your mind that you want to lose weight and you want to be healthy, it will be easy for you. do what I did, when ever I think I am hungry I say to myself, the food will be there all the time once I lose weight I will be good and I can eat everything. so I give up so many things just by thinking this way.
I dont eat bread, sweets, rice, spaghity, any fried food. and Soda, trust me I got used to it right now and I dont care about it anymore.
so Far I lost 14lb since 20th November.
for working out, whenever I feel tired while I am on the treadmill or the Elliptical, I just close my eyes and imagine the dress I want to fit in, and I keep going.
if you do the steps I told you, trust me you will be fine and you can lose more weight, and when you see the scale is going down, you will be very happy and you will like to do more and more.
