I have hit the wall. A year ago, I hit an all time high of 189. I began weight watchers and lost 27 pounds! yay! however, that weight loss has stalled about 4 months ago. Two months ago, I started to add some moderate exercise. I began by walking 4 miles per day. I currently walk 4, run 2 more for 6 miles a day. I added low weights (10 pounds) and started with that. I recently, in the last 3 weeks, added push ups (only 20) and sit ups (again only 20) to the daily mix. Result? Nothing, nada, not one pound more will drop. I limit myself to 18 WW points per day. What am I doing wrong?

Hello alikat1205, welcome to the Forum. Congratulations on your weight drop!!

I am not familiar with Weight Watcher's and how they work. I have come across some member's on the site that use WW, maybe you will cross paths with them. IDK, you may have hit a Plateau. I found that starting a diary on the sub-forum really helps.

Wishing you all the best, Take Care. :seeya:

hey there, I am on weight watchers to, and one of the things that may be hindering your success is that you are NOT eating enough. 18 points is not enough for you, especially with you exercising as much as you are. I know it sounds crazy...(*omg, I need to eat more????) Your body requires a certain amount of nutrition just to function properly, if you are not meeting those needs, it wont respond as readily to your hard work. My girlfriend is on weight watcher as well... she stalled big time and was soooo frustrated. She did the same thing as you are doing and after being convinced by the ww leader to eat more *according to what she was supposed to be having* She started to lose her weight again. She is now down 145 pounds.
Whatever you choose to do, I wish you lots of support and success.
Michelle :D

wow, thank you so much for your response. it will be hard to get myself to add more calories to the mix, but i will try for a week and see if i get any results!!!!!!
