Hey all!

My name is Rose. I struggled a lot with depression this winter, and I have gained some weight from overeating. I am doing a bit better now, but I am still stuck with the pounds I put on! I am not overweight, but I am only 5'2", so the weight that I have put on really shows. Now, I am in freak out mode because it is summer, and I want to be able to wear summer clothes without being self-conscious.

I am looking for advice on starting/maintaining a diet/exercise plan. My ultimate goal is to lose the weight that I gained in the past few months. Any advice?
 
start by spending some time reading teh stickied threads in Nutrition/ On topic and exercise..

that will give you a good basis for a sound nutrition plan that you can stick with as well as a good workout routine that won't kill you
