New Year, New Thread for Those who Weigh 200 lbs/90 Kg or More

I'm happy you're getting back on track too, veronandez86! It feels great doesn't it? I've lost about 20 lbs in a month and I'm so excited. I feel like I can do anything. Now I only have to lose 10 more lbs before december 22nd to be at my original goal, but now I'm shooting for 15 :) Gotta keep it interesting.

WHERE IS EVERYONE?!
 
I was 375 pounds two years ago. In 2007 I lost 115 pounds! This year I gained about 15 of it back (which believe me could have been worse!). My goal for 2009 is to get down to 220 pounds with a combination of cardio and weights. Wish me luck!
 
What do you mean, where is everyone. It's December! My old WW leader said that it was amazing how many people would shout "Holla!" the week before Thanksgiving and not show up again until the new year.

I'm starting tomorrow (right?) to get back on track. I fell off (again) today. :)

Well, I've been doing good. I still haven't been using my gym membership, but actually going to the gym will be my New Years resolution for 2009.

JC is working out well for me. I've been going exactly a month as of yesterday and I have lost a little more than 11 pounds. Hopefully this keeps up.

hmm, everyone seems to be posting here again :)
I'm finally free for 2 weeks! I'm making it worth it while it lasts! I got myself a new workout partner hehe, he is hardcore with weights.
 
Hey everybody! Im new... Really worried about christmas, I know im just not going to be able to stay away from the yummyness of it all...

Everybody keeps on saying, dont worry now, worry later lol. Whats everybpdy else doing? Are you guys cutting out the food you love...? Or going to worry later?

In my opinion, don't worry about it much. It's not like you are going to eat it everyday. Taste the food you like sometimes if you really want it. I've been eating whatever I want.
 
People are always going to say worry about it later. The best thing that I've found is to eat exactly what I want but limit portions. It's a strategy that works better with foods that aren't triggers... also, drink water whenever possible and have a glass of water before you eat so you'll feel full quicker. You might still gain a little, but not as much as if it were a full-out food fest!!
 
Totally weird, I haven't been on this forum since...I don't know when and I get an email about a post on this thread. Of course, I can't read the post. :confused:

Good news is, I'm under 200 lbs now! :hurray:
