New Year, New Thread for Those who Weigh 200 lbs/90 Kg or More

Your muscles tear a little when you work out, and you have to get your blood pumping the day after a workout to get the nutrients to your muscles so they can be repaired. If you don't, your body gets sorer than it would if you did. So walk or something on off days, just to get your blood pumping, and it should get better.

Or maybe NatalieJo is right and you're just working out way too hard all the time.

But if I have the same 2nd day thing you do.

Hi everybody!! Maybe I should just sleep instead of submitting a post like this :p but I wanted to say something at least to everyone. I will catch up on all the posts tomorrow, I've read most of them...but I am so sleepy and in a bad mood.

My revenge started today, and I was doing so perfect...until...dinner!! :( so depressing! I even had cookies today. Looks like I am only taking revenge on myself :nopity: I really feel disappointed in myself. I could have gotten anything else but WHY did i get fast food? Even at the fast food place, I could have gotten a salad, but I got the worst thing. Why I ask? Lack of will maybe? I was so exhausted all day and just feeling crummy, so I indulged only to make myself feel worse:nopity:

Ah well tomorrow will be a better day.

Hope everyone is okay, I glanced something about muscle ripping:leaving: not good!!! If I don't do better there will soon be stomach ripping :p

Don't worry pink :( I ate some chick-fil-a after workout today and ate some chixmix or something like that, i cant find the bag lol.
I know about the tear on the muscles, but I just don't know why I get soo sore 2 days after I worked out. Oh well, I'm working out tomorrow again :) I played some basketball today and possibly tomorrow if the gym is open to the public since people at the Y are doing springbreak camp :(.

Ginger - I did the same thing last night w/brownie mix - beating yourself up only goes so far and will only bring you further down into the spiral that caused you to eat like that in the first place...let it go and start fresh tomorrow. One meal did not make you and one meal will not break you, ok???

Good Morning All and Happy Tuesday....this morning i stepped on the scale and im finally out of the 240's WOOHOOO this morning i was 239.8...it's such a great feeling im so happy!!!! I did a double take at the scale LOLOL man i have been in the 240's plus for so long....Here's to getting out of the 30's!!!!! :)

Sometimes we falter... its ok ... you will just jump back on the band wagon, when you are ready. U know. And Revenge might not be the total reason you should lose weight. You may want to think of it as becoming healthier ...
I am becoming so healthy .. since I began this one year ago ..walking is actually way too easy ..it used to be soooo difficult ...

You can do this hun, but remember, sometimes we falter ..and all you need to do is dust yourself and realize the diamond that you are ..you know ..just get right back on ...

So I signed up to the forum yesterday and introduced myself in the newbies section and was told to check out this forum.. just thought I would say hi. I am about a week into my weight loss journey, current weight is 220. dont really care what the number is at the end (although I really think there is no end), im just trying to change the lifestyle and hopefully the pounds will fall off.
I look forward to getting to know everyone better.

i did pretty much everything today...I was too worried about some things so yeah, I worked it all out haha and now I just woke up from a nap :) 3 hr nap hehehe.

:grouphug::grouphug:Thanks so much everybody for your words of encouragement. I was really wigging out last night, I don't know what's wrong with me sometimes. But thanks Ali for putting things back in perspective for me (it made me feel so much better you will not believe) and a special thanks to everyone who ate some form of junk last night :rotflmao: I guess misery loves company...but no really thanks for bringing me back to reality. Nataliejo, I am actually doing this for health reasons, but the revenge just makes it all the more fun. I am happy that you are feeling more healthy, this is one of my more immediate goals and actually was the core of why i was so stressed about the fast food. I am trying to change my lifestyle you know what i mean, and I have to be strong because having big everyday lapses does not equal change.

Kevi you are so sweet :) I am so glad that you are always working out like a maniac, it's such an inspiration :)

That's what all my girl friends say haha and thanks :) I'll take that as a compliment.
Working my butt off is better than watching movies all day in my room doing nothing, but lay down and eat while watching a movie.
