I found my mom's "Sweatin to the Oldies" tape with Richard Simmons and I've been working out to it the last couple of days. Is that a good beginning video for me to start off with? Does anyone else use these videos? Or am I like the only one? Because I've just ordered the whole set on DvD the other day for like 30 bucks.![]()
Once upon a time I used to work out to those. And yeah, it seems like a great start. The time may come that they're too easy, but if that happens you can always jump a little more/higher or something similar.
One other thing to mention, I read somewhere that if you do the same video, your body gets used to it in about four weeks, so you should change it out then. I think that came from Fitness, but it might have been Shape or WW. I'm addicted to work out/weight loss magazines.
As for workout DVDs in general, I have ummm... a whole, whole lot. Like 20 and they range from crazy to boring to fun. If you want to know anything else about 'em, let me know!
