New year new resolution

Hi there,
I'm looking for strong motivation to get in shape this year and will be using this forum to my benefit.
I'm 32 years old, little over 200 lbs,6'1 and I'm just not happy with the way my body is shaping :drooling1:.
If I've quit smoking I can get in shape,I live in NW suburbs in Chicago and I'm looking forward to being here.

Is this forum always so slow to load? It's unusable,it takes 30 seconds to open a page and I've tried it from work and home (different ISP's)

Hi there,
so time has passed, goals are the same but let me get to the point.
Last year I've hit the gym and I even got some results, got H1N1 in September, lost some weight and probably majority of the muscle definition I've worked for.
I haven't been 100% for a long time and skipped working out until this month,I'm looking for some honest guidance,I want to put on some muscle mass (mainly biceps, forearms and chest) and at this point really don't care about being ripped.
Should my work out include heavy weights with less repetition or lighter ones with maximum repetitions? Any good ideas will be greatly appreciated. Please go easy on me,I'm sore from working out yesterday :)

Thank you.
