Hi guys.
I'm not so new, just haven't been here in a long while. I'm 34 years old and live in the north of England. Feeling very very fat and more than a bit disgusted with myself. And I really don't want to be in the same situation this time next year. My back and feet are hurting because of the extra weight and I struggle to wear high heels any more.
I haven't even stepped on the scales for 4 months (and really dont feel like I can just yet). So, I'm going to give it a couple of weeks or a month of good eating habits and exercise and face the scales when I can. At a guess I would say I'm around 210lbs. I was doing great a few years ago but fractured a bone in my foot and had to stop running for the last 18 months. It's only just started to feel ok again so I want to be running and losing weight. At the moment I'm a size 18 UK (but desperately trying to fit into my size 16 clothes for work) and I have to do somethign as I have no suits I can fit into at the moment.
It can't get any worse than this so...
no more chocolate, crisps, junk or large portions
under 1800 cals a day
exercise
Not that complicated really. Should be able to get it through my thick skull.
I'd ultimately like to run the Bupa 10k in May. That's my goal. Wish me luck!
