Just curious .. for the guys that lost lets say 70lbs and up. im gussing you dropped 2 shirt sizes and prolly 6/8 inches off waist ..

My question, how long before you had to buy smaller clothes, did your big cloths still fit but ver bagggy ?? or it just was too big ?

Too many factors.....

Everyone loses weight so differently its hard to say in general. Some people lose weight on the bottom end first, some on top, some all over.....

For myself, I lost the majority of my weight in a 6 month period. My shirts and pants looked soooooo baggy it actually made me feel bad to where them because I couldnt see the shape or size difference. But it was tough because I didnt want to buy a whole new wardrobe yet since I still had some ways to go. Pants were the big ones, down 8-10 inches. They had to go since after the 6th month they were bunched up to the point I had to fold them back on themselves. (which is tough in a formal work attire setting) Shirts werent too bad, at only 4 inches, going from a super tight 18.5 neck to 17, but I am naturally barrel chested anyways, so I dount I will ever get much lower than that. More recently I have had to have my new pants taken in at a tailor, since I REALLy dont want to buy more new clothes again until the final 4 inches are gone off the waist.

But it took 6 months to make the first purchase, now trying to hold out for a few more....

took me 5 months to go from a jean size 38 loose to a 34 regular. From xl or sometimes XXL shirts to a medium. I dont wear my big clothes becuase they look TOOOO big and makes me look big again.

wow .. from xxl to M is quite a wayz ... well, for me now im wearing xxxl and once they use to fit tight like i almost need 4xl .. been loosing some weight over the past 2months and now they feel big, at the point where i can get away with some xxl and people comment i look much smaller, i dont see it thou which is normally the case ... lol

but for measure i have a few XL shirts that is no where near close to fitting, it just looks near impossible that i may someday be able to fit in it .. i also wear 48waist, and i can now fit into some 42 .. weiirdddd

Where does all the fat go ?? anybody ? lol

It is weird how some clothes are labeled bigger than others. I have a 2XL teeshirt that fits like a glove and a L teeshirt that is loose on me.... Mislabelling I would assume. But I also find different brands often have different "fits". You would think an inch is an inch regardless, but often not.

Where does the fat go....... Good question. I would "assume" down the porcelain throne in one form or another. I wonder what the scientific answer is?
