hey everyone

im new to this forum.

im from brisbane, Australia

im 21, a registered nurse, and getting married july next year!

all my life ive been skinny, then last year i did my back in, and the steroids i was prescribed made me gain 40kg in 2 months.

so now its time to get rid of it by my wedding next year!

i currently go to weight watchers, and ive just ordered a treadmill.

i do have a gym membership, but its a waste because i just dont have time! at least if i have my own treadmill i can fit in exercise easily at home!

any tips & hints, or just to say hi back!

Welcome aboard Jess!

Congrats on the wedding and good luck with the weight loss :)...

(Rant: That's 88.184904874 lbs... Why can't we Americans use the metric system like the rest of the world :(... It really is so much easier... lol...)

Newbie too-bie

Welcome and congratulations on getting married soon!

I'm new here also and need to lose 75 lbs....well..now it's 70 since I lost 5 already.

I had a baby on August 1st and gained 32 lbs while pregnant. I was overweight before I got pregnant, and I developed gestational diabetes on top of it. My doctor recommended that I get back to my senior year of high school weight if I want to stay diabetes-free when I get older. So, that's what I'm working on. I want to give myself about a year to do it..or at least come close (losing 50 lbs within a year is probably more realistic if I want to keep it off).

Good luck to all!
