New user - servings for protein blend/syntha 6

Hello all!

I'm new to the forums, and was wanting to gain more information from the fitness community about protein intake, and suggestions on how much would be required for my certain situation.

I want to emphasize that I do not currently work out or follow a fitness regimen at this time, but I do plan on putting one together soon. I do get out and go backpacking and rock climbing a bit, but it is less than I like. I work quite a bit and my odd hours make for having a steady workout schedule very difficult. But once I get an idea for my ideal diet, then I will go from there. Not wanting to gain a ton of weight or muscle, but focus on strength, agility, muscle tone, etc. I weigh 150 lbs and I'm about 5' 7" I do stay pretty active at work though, for I am on my feet for 12 hours while lifting 33 lb rolls of plastic film (x14) + 40 lb machine shafts (x2) about every 23 minutes, including other lifting pushing duties, walking, climbing 1-3 story staircases, what have you. Not usually sitting down very much.

I ordered some Syntha 6 because my protein intake is not so good. I usually do pretty well with fiber, grains, and vegetables, but I don't believe I get enough good protein. I'm trying to get a way from processed foods for the most parts (once again, my hours and needs for convenience has sprouted some bad dietary habits.) I have been consuming more peanut butter for lunches, and then I will have dinner at home. I am wanting to include this shake as a breakfast replacement, and possibly add it again during the day to up my protein intake. My question is, should I be doing 1 serving (22g protein) once or twice a day or 2 servings twice a day.

I know there is a lot of information here, but if someone can make heads or tails of it, and simplify this to me, who has never really taken protein supplements before, I would be most grateful!

Cheers
