Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and my diet starts today, using both calorie restriction and more exercise. I'm using fitday to track my progress. I'm currently 6ft 3" and 215 pounds. I'm looking to get down to about 180.

This forum seemed quite fun and the support seemed pretty decent, so I thought I would give it a go!

Welcome to the forum.

It sounds like you are very much on the right track.

All you need is support and the best way to get that is to build up a circle of friends. Start a diary and see who visits - then visit them in their diaries. Also visit a few diaries yourself and leave a message. That tends to be the way to make friends. It tends to work best if you look for people at a similar stage in their project as they will be new and looking for friends too.

Joining clubs and challenges and posting there is also a good way of making friends.
