I'm Nikki. As my title says, I'm new, but not new to starting fresh with exercise and diet changes. My bad habit is to start exercising and eating well for a couple of weeks, then stop. Over and over again. This time I surprised myself. I found it easy to pick up where I left off, and even ran in intervals. Most times I exercise I can go a little further and pick up my pace. There has been days where my energy is low so I go for a shorter or easier walk. I find myself more motivated when I walk around my suburb. This is strange as it's up and down hills. If feel like taking it easy I go to a park where it's flat, but there I tend not to walk as far.
So at the moment I'm walking/running 4.53 km (2.81 miles), burning around 372 cal a day. From what I've read here, this isn't much. My aim is to walk 6 km and burn a little more cals a day.
I am Vegan so I do find it hard to eat 1200-1500 cals a day, considering 70-80% of my diet is raw. So my plan is to eat more fruit and add more plant based protein in the day.
I'm on this site as I find that I need help in motivation and with my diet. So please feel free to comment and give advise.
I should also add that I'm 30k's over weight. My weakness is hot potato chips and I put way to much on my plate, and I sometimes eat bread late at night
