New to this forum - not new to getting (and staying) fit

Well hello all. I'm iseekserendipity!

In 2002/2003 I reached an all time high - for me - of needing to buy a size 18+/20 (actually, size 50 European size). After some indepth research as to why I kept "wanting" to lose weight but made no efforts to (and therefore what I found reassuring about keeping the weight), something "flipped" in me, I found some useful information in terms of dieting, working out, etc. I got on WW, and followed the Body For Life workout system.

Now in 2007, I'm a size 40 (which seems to be getting a bit looser), although I have to be honest and say I came off, on, off, on, etc. and honestly am not beating myself up about it. I'm not quite as firm as I'd like, but I do feel muscles where they were not, have no skin flaps (? some friends who dieted spoke of such), and find myself quite lucky to have gotten so far.

It isn't a destination at all for me. I know I want to be firm and fit, more so to help my self confidence even more - it's quite improved, not so much for losing weight as knowing I can do it, but I do know that my attention, stamina and efforts are just fluctuating. My aim is to find a way to maintain a steady level.

Hi to all and hope you are all doing well really! :)

Question: if I want to post a "so far" progress picture, should I post it here, or in a diary post, or in the "before and after..." section? Just asking as I am totally new!

Take care.

if you want to post it - post it where you are most comfortable... before and after seems to get the most traffic

Thank you maleficent! :) I suppose I should really take the time to look around, understand how things work really, and then start posting in the Diary section, as motivation is certainly something I lack!
