Hi everyone! I am looking for some ideas to lose weight without necessarily going on a diet. I have issues with emotional eating, but love to exercise. I suffer from depression (although it's been under control for a while) so when I get into a depressed state I tend to eat more and exercise less...hence the weight gain. I just want to be happy and healthy. When I lived in Italy last year I ate what I wanted and lost about 10 pounds, but gained it all back when I got back to America. It must be the food! Everything in Italy is natural...no chemicals...and it must be that olive oil. But even when I eat that kind of "mediterranean" diet here in the U.S I don't lose any weight. I'm not big on restricting what I eat but I'm wiling to exercise more. Any suggestions would be great!
 
Hello fash6, maybe it had to do with your state of mind whilst you were in Italy. I've seen overweight Italians too....Being in a different country could have brought a relaxed state to your mind and body...IDK
