Hi everyone,
I am at it again. Actually I have been fior a year and keep yo-yo-ing. I am currently using phentermine again.
I have used phentermine very successfully before about 10 yr ago. Prior to the first time I used it I had been working out with weights regularly for about 15 years. That, along with the decreased appetite and extra energy to constantly be doing something - painting, yardwork, housework - helped me to lose 60 pounds of fat. I was ripped as they say...had a six pack and 18" upper arms, pretty much had a bodybuilders physique. I was taking prozac along with the phentermine, my sex life crumbled, my wife insisted I stop the prozac, I found ice cream, I got fat.
So, I am back on prozac and phentermine and no one is getting me to quit either until I am ready and have a plan in place to counter the absence of any med. I was 30 the 1st time I used it and now am 41. It is indeed a lot harder and it sucks. I'll keep trying tho.
