Hello everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself, because this time I really need some help, and I figured a forum like this was probably the best way to go.

My history is probably way too long to go into, and not very boring, but in the past year I've gain about 20 lbs and my doctor finally said I had to put an end to it.

I went to a dietician (still am going) and I hired a personal trainer, and so far, I've been doing this for about a month seriously.

No changes yet in my weight or my body, which makes me expect the worst already.

I keep telling myself that it's because I was already in relatively good cardiovascular health (I was doing pilates and spinning three or four times a week) so any "water loss" that other people experience, I've already skipped that part.

Anyway, hopefully being on this forum will help me stay motivated, and maybe even give me insight as to what's happening with my body (and the lack of loss).

I'm already keeping track of my diet on Fitday, on request of my dietician (who was also expecting more weight loss) and I am exercising twice a day -- spinning, pilates, belly dancing, weight training.

Any suggestions or recommendations woudl be great!

It's great to meet all of you!

Hello and welcome to the forum. I am not an expert but it sounds like you have a good plan started. It is good that you're tracking your intake on fitday, this way you can see just how many calories you really are eating. Sometimes we consume more that we realize (I've been there and done that). Good luck.
