New to the site and liking what I see!

Hello all! I am new to the "forum community" of any type. There's a first time for everything, so here goes...

I have always been "skinny" and under the average weight for someone my height. I have been told most of my life that I look "anorexic" or I "need to eat more." This didn't bother me until last Sunday when my stepdad said those exact words to me when we came over to visit my little brother who is home from overseas.
I already was feeling self-conscious about the little belly I seem to have developed since changing occupations Feb. of '08 (I went from being extremely active waiting tables and bartending to sitting at a desk doing business consulting). I am still under the recommended weight for someone my height, and am looking to tone, strengthen and possibly add about 15 pounds to my frame.

My stats:

30 years old
Female
114 lbs.
5'6
I have 2 children, ages 13 and 11 (the most I have ever weighed was when I was pregnant...I tipped the scales at 142 lbs.)
I love to cook, so I always try to make me and my family healthy, low fat, low carb, high protein meals. We are all fairly active, but could be more. I have scoliosis (37 percent curvature in the lower lumbar and 26 percent curvature in the mid to upper lumbar), so yoga-like exercises are very compatible with me. I used to do yoga years ago, but got out of the practice when I married my very un-fitness minded ex. Now, I am remarried to my VERY outdoorsy, actively, wonderful husband (I will be asking about tips for him too, but right now I need to work out more than he does...he still has his six-pack!)

Well, that's kinda me in a nutshell. I hope you guys can give me some direction.
