Hi All. I just started this site today after stepping on the scale this morning. I have been on this new healthy eating plan (Not diet) for the last 4 days. I have had my RMR tested and was given a result of 1600. So if I want to loose 25 pounds safely, I need to cut my calories 500 a day. Done! I started at 172 pounds. I have kept my calories at 1200 (writing down everything I eat/drink-even gum) and have done 60 minutes of exercise (Bike/stair step) a day except one day-burning 250-350 calories a day. You could have knocked me over with a feather this morning when I stepped on the scale.........I HAVE GAINED 3 POUNDS!!! What the hell!?! I have been drinking 6-8 bottles of water a day. WHy am I gaining??????? I am so depressed right now........OH and I quit smoking the same day........Please someone give me a good reason for the gain.......I need some support.
