New To The Forums .. But Help Please!

Well Hello everyone .. I am a 20 year old from new orleans .. i stay at home with my 3 year old will my boyfriend works.. well i live in a house with all spanish people .. i am the only one that speaks english and as everyone know .. Spanish food is so good But YET SO FATTING .. i need some help from other people i weigh 210 and i am only 5'1 .. so i am and look really fat.. I am always up for advice and i am ready to get my life together to be able to look and feel healthy not only for me but for my baby girl also .. so replys and messages are always accepted .. Thanks
 
You should attempt to write down everything you eat on a normal day and not leave anything out. Post it out here and that will give everyone a chance to critique your nutritional shortcomings.

If we don't know what you are doing, we can't figure out a fix.
 
Welcome to the forum Krystal lynn...you may want to ask for expert advice in the Advanced Weight Loss forums and also start a diary in the diary section. I think it would help. Also it may benefit you to join one of the weight loss challenges in the challenges section. Do you have a scale?

Thanks .. But i dont have a scale .. I will find out tomorrow whats all my wieght.. BMI .. from the personal trainer that i just got to be able to help me more .. i will post it up .. I did my before pictures yesterday .. I will start writing everything thing down that i eat ..

Ps. What a good calorie max or min start start of with?
 
I'm starting off with 1200 I think that is the min recommended...but check with your trainer to see what is good for you. All the best!!
 
Krystal Lynn, Congrates on taking the first step to success. First off believe you can do it and never beat yourself up if you have an off day. While being in the Air Force for nearly 11 years and seeing multiple traininers, there has been one thing beat in my head time after time. You don't need all the protien shakes or weight loss pills. A few small things to live by and you will see results, Guaranteed!

1. Drink WATER! Lots of Water! The old myth of 8-8oz glasses is not enough when you are active. Drink 80-90oz a day atleast.

2. 4-5 "Small" meals a day. Eat something rather then nothing. This will help lower your over all calorie intake. Eat slowly until you are satisfied.

3. Very important: Never miss breakfast. This goes back again to the "eat something rather then nothing".

4. Get atleast 20 mins a day of an aggressive workout a day, 3-4 times a week.

I promise you that you follow these four things and you will see results. Now, the hardest thing is not being discouraged. It might take you 5-6 weeks to see major results.
