Hello Everyone,
I registered about 5 months ago, but this is my first thread/post.
I am 22 years old. I moved to The United States 14 months ago, in which I haven't moved much (I used to walk at least 30 minutes a day), and used to eat lots of fruits and veggies. I have been eating very unhealthy lately, and in just 14 months I gained 15 pounds.. I am only 5"2 and you can easily see all the weight on my belly and thighs
..
What makes it hard is that my husband is trying to gain weight and every time we share a meal or a snack in front of the TV, I end up loading on calories... Apparently, if I am trying to lose weight and he is trying to gain weight, I/He should cook different meals for both of us, I guess.. Which doesn't sound practical at all, considering the two of us have a tight schedule...
I am joining the forums for support in my weight loss journey, and mainly to maintain a healthy life style and nutrition. I am not looking for a diet that helps me temporarily lose weight, I want the weight off for life through a PRACTICAL easy-to-follow healthy eating long-term plan.
I have not started any diet plan yet, so I am up for suggestions. Meal plans in weeks also would be GREAT!!
This time I'm sticking around and very determined to gain back my healthy slim 'good-looking' body...
Thank you for reading,
Farasha
