Hello, I'm Dan. This looks like a really good site so I figured I'd sign up. I am a 34 yr old fat man who is just beginning the journey to a fitter, healthier me. I have slowly gotten bigger and out of shape over the last 10 years or so until finally I hit the 300 lb mark last week. I realized that I have to make lifestyle changes if I want to be around to see my children grow up and it starts now.
I am cutting out the bad foods from my diet and have been eating more, smaller meals consisting of mainly veggies and fruits. I'm also having protein shakes for several of my meals. I have begun lifting weights again, 3x a week, and have been walking/jogging 3 miles every other day.
Anyhow, thats my story, and I'm looking forward to being part of this community.
