Hello everyone! I've been lurking around for a couple of weeks and decided I needed to introduce myself. I've gotten so much inspiration from the people on this forum! Whenever I need some motivation I check out the Before and Afters. Hopefully I can contribute to that thread someday!

I'm about a week into a fresh attempt to lose weight--the right way! I'm tracking my calories and walking everywhere I can. (I'm a college student, so that's a good amount.) I've had half-hearted attempts in the past, including a couple bouts of the South Beach diet. (I couldn't even make it though the first two weeks without "cheating.") I'm over that stuff now and I'm focusing on doing things the right way. Anyways, this is much longer than I intended it to be so I think I'll wrap it up. I'll be starting a diary soon to track my progress, so come check it out if you're interested!

Hello as well! I am a college student too with midterms right now. Somehow my stress goes up and I don't want to work out anymore even though I know it is a good stress reliever! Ugh. Here's hoping you are having better luck than me!

Welcome to the forum. You will find allot of info to make this journey work. It sounds like you are on the right track. Eating healthy should be a lifestyle change. One that diets don't offer. Eating right and all the food groups in moderation is the way to become healthy. You can do this. Good Luck Tina:seeya:
