Hello everyone, I am Paige and new to the forum. I started trying to loose weight 6 months ago and have managed 40 lbs so far. I have two young children and am trying to get back into shape after 6 years of not watching my weight (other than to moan about it!)

I joined to get a little help with my goal. I am getting really frustrated because I never ever thought I would get down to this weight, but my waist and hips are still SO big compared to the rest of me. I don't know what to do! I haven't done the 'spot' training, I haven't just been trying to loose weight in my hips but all over and man this is stubborn. Any help, ideas, rants of experiance would be appreciated!

Oh, I suppose you should have my stats!

I am 5' 2" and 118 lbs (down from 158 in July 07)
My 'natural' waist is 30", the circumference around my navel is 35.5"(!!!) and around the very top of my hip bones is 37" (!!!)

Thanks everyone!
