Hello everyone-
I was really happy to find this on the internet, I wasn't too sure if something like this was out there. I am hoping to lose some weight and have been unsuccessful in the past. I have just started (again) the Weight Watchers program. I've had good results in the past, nothing major because I fall off before I get to any decent results. I'm hoping to make it stick this time though. My motivation to get healthy is due to the fact that there are some serious health problems in my family and I don't want to fall victim to them or at least prolong the onset a little bit. I hope this can work and I look forward to talking to some people from here.

Thank you so much for your tips, judging by your own weight loss and the simplicity of them, it speaks for itself that they must work. I appreciate your reply.

Also a newbie, I have posted my exercise for years on VideoFitness.com and it has helped me to become very focused and accountable to a group. I am hoping to find a new community to support me in my diet quest.

I need to lose 30 pounds - had lost 20 of them but the past year was a mess. I am focused on losing the weight - for health reasons but also because I subscribe to the belief that my thighs should't roll out to the side.

I want to look better. I would be lying if I said vanity was not playing a role in my weight loss goals.

So, hoping to find support as I embark on this journey.

Good afternoon. I am a newbie as well. I struggle in the motivation area. I do enjoy getting to the gym, on the days I make myself go, and I try to eat right. But I need to do something to lose these 30 lbs that somehow crept on over the last few years. My goal is to lose 30 lbs within the next 6 mons...and keep them off! I want to go from 27.5% body fat to 17%.
I'm looking forward to staying on track this time with the success stories and tips this site has to offer!
