I really want to lost weight before my graduation in June, and I would like to lose 30 + pounds in a span of 3 months. I will be signing up for a gym membership soon and I was just asking if 15 min. on the treadmill and 15 min. on the exercise bike would give me those results. Thanks!

Probably not. The fastest way to lose weight is this!

1. Calculate how many calories you need to maintain your current weight without exercising.
2. Subtract 200 from that amount, and that's your daily caloric intake.
3. Add 6 days a week of 30 minutes of cardio, which is about 200 calories
4. Add 3 days a week of weight training, which is about 150 calories.

Put that all together and you've created a deficit of 3,500 calories, which means your body HAS to lose at LEAST 1 lb a week. Losing 2 or even 3lbs a week on this exact method is not uncommon.

If you want a good exercise and meal plan (you don't need gym equipment, but it helps! Lol) I use the fitness model (). It's also geared towards girls and has a lot of great beauty tips, which is actually my favorite part of the program lol.

yeah i'm shooting towards 4-5 lbs a weeks. would losing that much for 12 weeks be unhealthy or anything negative towards me? i'm not all for those fitness plans, i use what i have and what i can get quickly. there's a gym that seriously is like 3 minutes away from my house that i plan to join sometime tomorrow.

unless you currently weigh 400lbs - 4-5lbs a week is completely unrealisitic and unreasonable if you expect the weight to stay off...

Nutrition is going to be your biggest ally when it comes to fat loss.
