New to group but not to weight loss

Hi to everyone,

I started losing weight on July 15, 2006 and have lost 35 pounds up until October 12, 2006. I have been on a plateau and I am changing some things up. I have been walking since July 25 starting with 15 minutes and have worked my way up to 6 miles every morning. However, my weight loss has plateaued and I am building muscle in my legs. I have joined a fitness club and I am starting to to some strength training in my upper body focusing on my abs, chest, arms, and back. I will work on my legs and still walk either on the cross-track or on the treadmill.

I hope to pick up some extra tips on strenthening my upper body as I drop another 15-20 pounds.

For the first time in my life, I actually enjoy losing weight and living healthy. I guess part of feeling good is what I am doing to lose weight and the other part is helping others across this great nation to lose weight as well. It seems that there are a great bunch of people heading to the same destination of healthy living and smaller jeans. I am helping dozens of people to lose weight currently and thankful for finding this forum to spread a small amount of what I have learned.
