New poster wonders about second month goals

Hi everyone!

Please forgive me if this was the wrong place to put this.

I have just finished the month of February losing 20 pounds exactly. Not 19.9, not 20.1. My super fancy scale measures in tenths of pounds. Unfortunately, it's other functions stop working if you get too fat, which I am. I know I lost more than 20 pounds of fat because I have gained quite a bit of muscle. Unfortunately, I can't quantify that.

I'm on a diet I invented a few years ago with some slight modifications borrowed from "You On A Diet". Total daily caloric intake is roughly 1800.

I'm going to the gym EVERY day, doing 40 minutes of hard cardio and rotating upper body/lower body weights.

I am a 33 year old male who weighed 265 and I stand 5'7" in height. I now weight 245.

I was surprised to discover that using a Basal Metabolic Rate calculator, I was able to predict within 2/10ths of a pound my weight loss for the month. Now here's what surprises me. Because I expect to burn an average of 700 calories a day in cardio in March, and maintain my diet ... the calculator predicts my weight loss at 21 pounds this month. That's after adjusting for my new body weight's BMR.

I can provide numbers or details to anyone curious.

I had set a goal for myself of losing 10-13 pounds this month...

I'd love to lose ANOTHER 20...

Is it possible? Has anyone here ever lost 20 pounds two consecutive months?

I'm probably not going to hit 20 pounds this month as I've already cheated three times after never cheating once in February. I'm making a recommitment to not cheat this month again though. DAMN YOU, DORITOS!

Steve, I'll keep your very kind and much appreciated offer in mind. Just as I pack on flab easily, I also pack on muscle easily. I want to have a fairly bulky, muscular physique.

I'll come talk to you when I'm down to the last 20 or so... hopefully in 3 or 4 months... maybe 6.
 
Sounds good. I am not all about muscle building, realize though. I would say my specialty, if I actually have one, is weight loss. So if you run into a snag, you know where to find me! :)
