You may be surprised how many of us are tackling long term projects. Read a few diaries and when you feel ready - start your own diary and set up a ticker.
A brilliant form of exercise for people embarking on a long term project is walking. I walk a lot and it is the main difference between my success this time around and hundreds of failed projects over the past 20 years.
I started off going out and literally taking a walk round the block.
Get a pedometer - they are cheap - and wear it all day long to see how many steps you do. Challenge yourself to walk a little further every day. You would be amazed how it can build up as your stamina improves. It really helps the weight loss too.
