Hi all,
I've been a dieter for over 5 years and have been stuck at a plateau for about 3 of those years. A few months ago, the stressors in my life increased and so did my weight ..eventhough my diet has not changed and my activity has increased.

I have been scratching my head for the last month trying to figure out why this is happening. I increased my exercise to include more aerobic stuff but the weight isn't budging. I am at a healthy weight according to the charts, but I would like to knock off 9 pounds. I'm 5'1" and weigh 119... I want to weigh 110. I'm also 49 years old so I'm sure that may have something to do with it.

I use weight loss software and religiously monitor everything that I eat. I just don't know where I'm going wrong.

So I've come here for support and advice.

I read the stickies..everyone seems to take in way more than I do and still lose weight.

I'm so disgusted at this point and also very worn out from it all. I've decided to change "what" I eat and have switched to less carbs and more protein. I hope that works.
