Hello. I'm afraid I don't really have much of anything interesting to say, but I wanted to introduce myself in the hopes of giving me some commitment.
I'm 18, tall, and weak. I'm about 6' and about 125-130lbs, meaning I'm technically underweight, but most of what I do have isn't muscle. I'm determined to get healthier, and any help I can leech from you guys will be most appreciated.
Anything I do for exercise has to be doable at home. So far, the only equipment available to me is a treadmill, adjustable dumbbells with up to 30lbs to split between the two, and a pull up bar I just got. So far the only exercises I've really figured out to do are push ups, dumbbell curls, pull ups, and running.
I've just started a few days ago, so my abilities with each one are pathetic. The most push ups I've been able to do at once is about 13. I know I could do more weight with less reps, but I'm at about 12 reps at 15lbs for the dumbbell curls. For walking/running, I could go farther, but I can't make myself go more than a mile because I can't get the side aches to leave me alone.
So, there's my state of disrepair. I hope I'll be able to find a lot of useful knowledge here, and get to know you guys a bit. Thanks for reading.
