Hi everyone! So obviously I'm new and looking to lose some weight! I've been carrying around this extra stone and a half for a year now and I'm just desperate to lose it. I know it doesn't sound like a huge amount but it's really given my confidence a knock. So I'm really taking it seriously this time and counting my calories and exercising more. I'd just really appreciate some buddies who can encourage me on my way and I'll obviously return the favour! X

Glad that you have made a choice to the healthier life.


So firstly - I suggest you don't make big goals. Alot of people make the mistake of having big unrealistic goals and tend to get discouraged and quit right after.


Also - make sure you don't consume tooo few of calories or you'll hit a hard plateau.


Don't forget to drink lots and LOTS of WATER!. Atleast 6 glasses of 8oz.
