New,need advice

I am new to this forum. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice. Is it okay to run/(jog when tired) on the treadmill for 25-30 minutes, use the ellipitical for 12-15 mins (the interval course at level 5, there are 10 levels) along with lifting 6 pound weights (10 reps,5 sets.) I am just starting back at this whole trying to become healthy/lose some excess baggage lol! I am a female, 5'2 155 pounds. Will I lose weight doing this sort of a routine? Or is there a better way for me to do so.
ps i am also eating more veggies and fruits,and cut back my portions a lil bit but still have enough energy to work out. I cut out white bread and pasta. I have been eating rice with brocoli chicken and carrots a lot. Is this good or no?

are you using any kind of tracker to keep count of calories and other nutrients? such as - you want to have a good balance of proteins/fats/carbs - as well as enough fiber on a daily basis - using an online tracker does all that math for you and gives you something to look back at.

White rice? eh it's kind of vacant nurtient wise - you're better off with brown rice or whole grain like quinoa or the like...

you don't want to cut your calories too drastically, that's as bad as having too many...
