Hi there - well, I don't know if it is my imagination but I seemed to lose 12 kilos over a period of about 12 or 13 years and then gain 8 kilos in a few months! Or maybe it was 5? I am not sure.

Anyway it was very upsetting.

But I think if I join a forum it will help because its kind of like "Big Brother is Watching You" if you know what I mean.

For me what has been successful is at least SOME excercise every day, no white flour, very little starch, and lots of protein and vegetables. That has made a big difference.

Also when I eat more vegetables and protein I notice that I don't crave bad food - I think the body gets what it needs so it doesn't always ask for more.

Another idea I have is to buy tons of acceptable food, even if its tuna and pickes and grapefruit juice, and keep it handy in my house. Then when I am hungry I won't go to the nearest shop to buy potato chips as I will have food right next to me. I am too lazy or too busy to go to a shop when I could stay at home editting my photos!

Welcome Anna! I'm sure you'll find lots of great support here to help you to your weight loss goals. For me, posting here seems to keep me in a good mindset to eat healthy and make good choices throughout the day. If I'm thinking about grabbing a cookie or something, I can just think about all the people here and about how much I'd like to be one of the ones posting awesome before and after pictures :) It sounds like you've already made some good changes, so I'm sure you'll succeed.
