New Member - question for mature members...

Hi guys,

New here and want to ask you fitness experts a big question....something that'll help me BIG TIME!!
I am a chronic masturbator.....so does ejaculating diminish lung capicity and lower your fitness levels, does it increase the build up of lactic acid?
Or are these just not true at all?

Pls help me out....Ive got a massive football game early tomorrow and I am the main striker of the team...however the sexual tension is too much...
 
Hmmm lets see. Where do you suppose there would be lactic acid buildup? I would wager its nowhere that will effect a soccer (football) player.

I also do not believe that ejaculation will diminish your lung capacity in any way. If anything, the more your heart rate is increased during masturbation, the more benefit it will have on your cardiovascular health as a whole.

If this is a serious post (which I find unlikely) I would guess you are in your teens and that this is nothing to worry about. Keep on choking your chicken all you want. With age, it will pass.

If this isn't a serious post (which I suspect to be the case) I hope you have attained the amusement you seek. Now run along and find a more appropriate forum.

No guys, I was absolutely serious about my post. It's been a long term problem and no ones' bothered to help me out so far....until now, so thanks alot for that ChrisJG! Its just that I feel bogged down afterwards, but during its..."stimulating and energising".....
Hope I can do the full 90 mins without any problems during the game....as u already know, football (soccer) requires masses of anerobic and aerobic fitness...if my "habit" doesnt waver my performance on the field like you say so, its a major relief.....I just hope you knew what you were talking abt...So once again..Thanks!
 
Koosko, if you truly are serious, I apologise for my sarcasm but, I stand by my response. The only way I can see masturbation effecting your game is if you were to indulge in your 'hobby' whilst the game were in progress (or from what you say, directly beforehand!)

If my estimation of your age is anywhere near to the truth, I would also guess that you are not the only one with this 'hobby', although, you may be one of only a few who consider it to be a problem.

And no, I wouldnt even think of indulging in my 'activity' during a game, I might get a red card if I do...heheheh
 
Unlucky on the score line but, congratulations on the goal.

I think you would end up with not only a red card but, also a police caution! lol - not a hobby for public consumption!
 
Masturbating doesn't affect your performance - however most clubs and national teams enforce a 24 hour sex ban before a match - keep the fury :)
 
Also, it obviously doesn't stop the performance, or Wayne Rooney would be stuffed...:p

Staying away from the woman helps me get mad, and more intense in workouts and such. We used to do that in HS to get pumped, everyone would be so easily agitated before the game.
 
U guys are friekin awesome, now I can do it guilt free...and actually enjoy it. But damn....the pimples and 'all over the place' voice I get afterwards.....not worth eh? lol.....once again..thanks for clearing this stuff once and for all.
 
This forum is DA MAN!!! I am planning to minor in an area of physical education for Uni, and to hell with those fatass text books, the sites' got every thing I need. Ive also managed to conclude my masturbation 'issue', it depletes zinc(required to build muscle)....so I'll be doing it only to keep my sanity (once a week). after years of being a serial manipulator, i noticed a massive (no pun intended) difference in my sex drive and virility since starting a regimented weights and cardio program.

i used to take a multivitimin tablet and just though that'd be ok, but have since realised im probably lacking zinc.

after reading around i heard about zma, and its effects on testosterone. so whilst out buying my last batch of whey powder i also picked up some zinc tablets at about five pounds for 90.

that was friday afternoon, its now monday. over the weekend i have already noticed a massive (cue schoolboy giggle) difference.

Its back.

i dont like taking too many pills and products but this really has helped, im gagging to get to the gym tonight and see if its helps there too.

the tablets are 15 mg each, so ill take two plus whatever is in the multivitamin. i dont each much red meat but if i do ill just have the one zinc pill.
