New Member looking to change a few body stats!!!

Hi all, new member to the forum looking to make some changes!!!

6 foot 2, weight 250lbs, body fat 30.3%, bmi of 31.

Started training two weekes ago, doing a strength training split routine, followed by 30minutes cardio 3 times a week, and another hour of cardio on its own if I can fit it in.

Retesting the above stats at the end of January, hopefully I can come on and post different results!!!
 
That is a really good mix of training. Streght work will build muscle aiding fat loss and cardio will make you healthy as well capable.
Don't forget the stretches, especially with strength work, they are essential to avoid injury. The male gender are worst for forgetting these and often pay a fortune to sports injury specialists for doing so.

The only thing that I would suggest is to do a whole body training routine 3 times per week, rather than a split... What does your split look like?
 
My split at the moment is Tuesday Legs and Shoulders, Thursday Chest and Triceps and Friday Back and Biceps. I'm hitting 4 sets of 6, and seen real progress in the weights I'm lifting, had lost 11 pounds, and body fat dropped to 26%.

Although this was all tested two weeks ago, the festive period has set me back slightly!!
