Hello everybody!:D Wow I am so happy I found this forum! I need advice in losing weight because I want to lose 30 pounds. This is what I do: Barry's Bootcamp Complete Workout System (at home) in the mornings and I run on the treadmill in the evenings (at home also), usually about 15-30 minutes because I'm just starting to work out again. I used to go to the gym. That was hmm, about 2 years ago. I stopped because of the time I consume just getting there. Am I doing it right? What else should I do or what can I add to my workout?

Working out is good for you, and I would never tell anyone not to exericse, but if losing weight is your goal, then you MUST control what you eat. 80% of losing weigh is about food intake.

I'd suggest registering with fitday.com or thedailyplate.com or one of the other free tracking sites that allow you to log your food and see how much you're eating and what your nutrient values are.

Making sure you're eating a healthy amount of food (not too many calories and not too few) and getting a good balance of carbs/protein/fats is crucial to losing weight. Otherwise you can bootcamp and run and exercise until you're blue in the face, and you won't lose an appreciable amount of weight.

Yeah I've been on a low-carb high-protein diet but I have no professional help. It'd be great to have that kind of help. Both sites are free? Cos I've been to other sites where they let you register "for free" and then at the end of the registration it says you have to pay this and that for a year blah blah blah.
