New, Looking for Support!

Hi !

I just joined today hoping to find a support system or a workout buddy... I need to lose about 30 lbs when it's all said and done. I'd like to work back up to doing cardio 4-5 times a week, with some weight training. We can hold each other accountable for working out and eating right! I've never done this before so I'm not sure how well it would work, but it's worth a shot. I just need to lose the weight I've gained back since starting school in August, I'm in my last year of grad school and the stress is unbelievable. I had a trainer over the summer but with school and being away from her, it's been hard for me to stay focused. I'm determined to get back into shape!

Anyone interested??

Hi Whit, and welcome.

Generally this whole forum is about supporting each other. Why don't you start a diary in the diary section of the board. Logging your progress in your diary and following other diaries a great way to build a support network here.

Also participate in some of the challenges and contests to make friends and get motivation.

Hi Whit,
I'm new too and am not sure what will help me but know that i need help. I lost 40 pounds in 2007 and kept it off for one year and then started putting on again. I'm up to 157 from 137. Unbelievable how unhappy this makes me. I see you want help in being held accountable. How do you want to do that? I'm willing to help you. Maybe you can help me!:seeya:
