I am here to say hello... meet new people, and learn some new things on nutrition and fitness. I want to lose about 20 lbs. I am exercising and eating 20 grams of fat 1200 calories a day. I am also trying to reduce carbs. Does it sound like I am on the right track to you? Please comment back. I look forward to meeting you all.

to know if you are on the right track... you will need to give more info.. what are you doing for exercise? What are your stats? age? weight? height?

Sorry... Female- 29 years old, 5'1 - 150 lbs. I just started going to the gym so I have been mainly doing the elliptical machine for 15 mins to get heart rate up and then the treadmill cardio workout for 40 mins- with minimum heart rate of 153 to burn the most fat. Does that sound good? I haven't met with the personal trainer yet but I hope to schedule that soon. I am open to any suggestions.

It will say joe blow until you make a certain number of posts.. I can't remember off hand what that number is though. I'm sure its somewhere in a sticky.

have you thought any about strength training with weights?
