Hello everyone,

I am 18, female, and weigh 240 pounds. Last year I joined this forum and lost 40 pounds (going from 270 to 230) but I stopped trying to lose due to major life happenings and gained back 10. My goal is to lose the 10 I gained back, as well as get down to 165, and take it from there. Any advice is welcome :)

For now, I am counting calories and working out every other day.

Congratulations on the weight that you lost last year. Gaining some weight again is something that happens to many of us. I have gained some weight myself and am back to address my gain too...

Counting calories and regular exercise will get you there... I was not here when you were here last time - but I am sure that as a past member of the forum you will be also ensuring that the calories that you eat form a healthy balanced diet and you will be ensuring that you hit those important nutritional targets to ensure that you preserve muscle.
