Thought I'd say hello! I signed up on the fitness sister site and found this one as well. I've lost 120lbs since July 2007 and am in the final stretch. I've found all kinds of good info there and hope to do the same here!

congrats on the 120 pounds lost =D how may i ask, did you do it? i bet you feel soo amazing. everyone is very nice here. and you will find alot of support in getting rid of those last few pounds^^ good luck!

Thank you! When I started out I followed the South Beach Diet very strictly. I still follow it, but I moreso now am focusing heavily on my protein intake and trying to up that. When I started I also joined Curves and was there 3-4 times a week. In October I switched to XSport Fitness, a local gym. I felt that I could not move forward at Curves, I was too limited. So now I do cardio and muscle classes 4 times a week and I sometimes throw in a day on the elyptical. I did try spin class this past week, which kicked my butt! haha :willy_nilly: And that's how I've got to where I'm at now. For Xmas my mom got me a Polar watch/heart rate monitor, so now I can tell exactly how many calories I'm burning and what my heart rate is. I love it.

mmm i am just started... slow and steady at the moment i will love it when i can buy a gym membership and start showing off that body i have yet to get lmao.

im sooo envious of your watch :3 maybe my mommy will get me one if im good =P
