I just want to say HI to every one.
I'm looking foward to making some new friends here.
I enjoy writing stories and poems.
I also love the outdoors.
I've been married for almost 11 years and we don't have kids yet.

I have close to 100lbs to lose and need some encouragement.

I'm so glad you joined the WLF Maybe!

I have only been a member since Feb 2008 and I have found everyone to be not only motivating but helpful with advice as well. Start a diary so we can visit you daily to see all your progress. Even if its a bad day, we all have those! I try to write in my diary every day and visit others as well.

Good luck with your journey to a healthier lifestyle, can't wait to visit you in your diary!

6 pets! If you count the husband that's 7! I'm kidding.

And like stargurl84 said, don't think of it as "I have to loose 100 lbs".
Think of it like, "I can't wait to loose that 100 lbs!" or "This week I would like to loose 2-3 lbs."

Small increments are more realistic and then slowly you'll see the results. I'm impatient, so I understand what you mean. But honestly yesterday I worked out and all I could do was brag about it to myself and that pumped me up to work out today, too!

I have 1 dog who badly needs to lose at least 10lbs. Jake is a boarder collie lab mix. Both of my cats are black and white. Harmony is more black and if she lays on dark cloths I step on her. Misfit is more of my husbands cat.
We have 3 fish. 2 neon tetra's and a beta; Gil after Gil Grissom on CSI Las Vegas. They play like kids. He will hide and as soon as they swim by he will ambush them and chase them like little boys playing cowboys and Indians. I'm glad to be here. I need a lot of help with this.
