Just thought I would start here. I am glad I bumped into this site. My goal is to lose weight so I can wear a swimsuit in Hawaii this Thanksgiving!! I know it sounds silly but really I am exteremely embarassed of my big thighs and butts!! Good luck to me and other fellow members!
 
Welcome! You will find the support you need in this great place. I too have a goal to get into a nice new suit that I have already purchased! Now I have to really work hard.
Do you have any goals in mind? It is good to write them down it makes you accountable. Good luck to you and welcome again!:party:

WELCOME! :party: ....That's a GREAT goal...I LOVE HAWAII, when I went 2 1/2 years ago, I was MUCH thinner....and NOW I am planning to GET better than EVER as WELL! WE can ALL do it TOGETHER HERE! Sooo MOTIVATING!...I'm ROOTING FOR YA!

Thanks everyone for the support!! Not a great plan... the last time I lost 25 pounds I cut out carbs from my dinners and went to the gym about 4 days a week. It took me 3 months. I maintained my weight for about a year from then... went 'up-scale' after that (different priorities :banghead:). It has been nearly 3 years now. I am determined this time. I have been going to the gym about two days a week the last two weeks. Will be increasing it to 3 this week and 4 next week. I will probably start a journal and write down what I ate and what I exercised. I am still new to this site and getting used to it.
Thanks everyone... any suggestions and help are welcome.
