New Here - Lost 60 Pounds

Hey All,

Between February & August of 2008 I lost 60 pounds to go from 211 down to 151. The best part is I have kept it off for over a year now. I guess that's proof what I did works.

The way I did it was by switching from Taco Bell & McDonald's every day to Subway Fresh Fit menu items. I also created my own 15 minute workout that I do every day.

I really want to help and motivate others in their weight-loss goals. If I could do it, I know anyone can.

So, if you have any questions, need a little motivation, etc... just get in touch.
 
It's great to hear of someone losing the weight and keeping it off for a year. I lost 40 pounds recently and have been in the process of maintaining now...which has been a very scary, daily struggle! I can't seem to get over my fears of gaining the weight back...I guess cause I hear and see so many people who do gain it all back and then some! I do know rationally that I have learned the tools...healthy eating and working out regularly. But, it is still a fear and my weight/diet is always foremost on my mind.

Does this get better with time? Have you stopped obsessing about gaining it all back? How long does that take...?

Anyway, congrats on the 60 pounds and keeping it off!
