Hey guys/gals. My name is Jordan. I'm 21 years old, 5'10" 255lbs. Most of my life I've been in relatively good shape. I was a linebacker in high school and my first year of college. I've always been a relatively bigger guy. Not fat wise, but muscle wise as in stocky. Now its different...
Then 2 years ago I slipped a disk in my back, and had to have back surgery. I caught a MRSA staff infection from the hospital and ended up being stuck in my house for almost 8 months straight. Within that 8 months my weight went from about 190-200 to 280lbs. I've lost about 25lbs in the last two months or so, but it doesnt feel like it.
My problem is, I'm stuck in the mind set that if I lift heavy, and build muscle, it will eliminate the fat. Thats not working. I'm doing my cardio, I need to do more of it, but I kind of want to lose my "bulk." I've been eating healthier and doing alot of research on here. Any tips would be great! If you have any other questions about me feel free to ask! (Sorry about the huge intro, it sounds like an intro on a personal ad or something lol)
