New Guy...Hopes to Share Fitness Ideas

Hello,

My name is Rusty Moore, I live in Seattle, WA. I've been working out for a little over 20 years...and it has taken me about that long to really figure out how to achieve a high level of fitness. I have never been extremely overweight, but I could never get those sought after 6 pack abs until just about 3 years ago.

It took me 17 years to figure out a few important things to really turn the corner. Now I'm 37...Better late than never...LOL!

Anyways...In my gym, I see people making the same mistakes I made. I really hope to read through posts and help as much as I can a few times per week. I'm sure I will learn a bunch of new strategies as well.

Cheers!

Rusty

Rusty - Welcome to the site. New myself.

I do agree with you though. There is a fine line between a good looking body with just the right build and a body that is overly done. I thought I was the only one that thought that. Lol. Guess not. I personally don't want TONS of muscles and I also don't want to look like a figure skater. Just some definition.

As for a six pack - thats a little futher out there for me right now. I have a weight loss goal and honestly, not sure one can focus on muscle and weightloss at the same time?

I dunno, I get really confused about the whole Gym thing and what should be done. I did it once - but I think the person that was "helping" me was more likely hurting me in the long run.

Would be interested in your ideas and thoughts. Please do share.

BTW - nice site!
