Greetings,

I am the new to this whole idea of jotting down my struggles and tribulations with weight loss. I am a Weight Watchers member and yes it works for me but just as with anything you have to be disciplined and willing to follow through.
I am a life time member at weight Watchers meaning that I reached my goal of 170 pds in 2008 but I am about 220pds right now and rising.
I just hope that I can learn from others on this site and perhaps I can help others with their struggle. I suffer from chronic pain from an injury in my neck and back and I also had a high tibial osteotomy on my left knee. Which means I have a metal plate in the tibia, 3 screws and bone donor in it. This was to avoid a full knee replacement. My other knee is in the same condition by fare much better with it. Walking has been difficult as well as exercise.(non-existent for at least 3 mos) stretching only..physio. Even right now I am stressed..an emotional eater yes, but of course...
Of course when my pain levels rise I tend to eat sweets or just eat in general.
Even at this moment.I feel like eating something.
I will post tomorrow and see my actual weight from the meeting.:newbie::

Hi and welcome. Your joints will feel so much better when you lose weight. Don't get discouraged and just take it a few lbs at a time. I work on 5lbs at a time. I need to get my weight down and keep it down this time for my bones. Just keep thinking of how much better you'll feel and when you feel like eating come to this site.
