Hey Bobbi Im new to this site. But I recently lost 200 pounds in 10 months. I just kept it very simple. Lot of people try to make it complicated its not. Yes its hard work and takes dedication but the plan/routine is simple. I am on a 1200 calorie low fat diet. I eat whole grains lots of vegetables, drink only water with the occasional coke zero which is fine. Eat healthy choice frozen meals and lots of turkey and ham sandwiches with mustard NO MAYO. I also eat chunky soups they are very good also. When it comes to excercise, I excercise 6 days a week no exceptions period. The one thing I think that has helped me is every Sunday I have a cheat day, I can eat whatever I want Its sort of a reward for a weeks worth of hard work. This has worked for me .

ozark.. That sounds great. I would love to have same results as you. What was your excersie routine when you started. What did you move up to.

When I started I could barely get out of my chair so I was doing 25 minutes on my treadmill at 2.0-2.5 mph with an incline of 3-5 and barely could make it I was swaeting and breathing very heavy. I increased the intensity as it got better I now go for 50 minutes at 4.5 mph and every couple minutes go to 6.0 mph and do incline of 12. I also have an elliptical machine but I love my treadmill more
