New from the UK

Hi everyone, just want to introduce myself. I got into gym work when I was 38 but kept going in for 6 months, dropping out for 6 months and then restarting. I realised this cycle was painful because I was always suffering the pain of 'getting started'.:(

So, mid 2007 I decided to 'quit being a baby' and hang in. I have stuck with it 6 days a week ever since and for the past 18 months have become a dedicated spinner. Love that machine so much I've managed to break one!

But I'm not sure what happens next. I spin to high resistance daily for an hour, never sit down and I go pretty fast. Plus I do 500 sit ups, 200 side crunches, core strength work plus light weights. I have my own home gym including treadmill (I walked/ran for about 18 months), rower plus free standing weights.

Now what? I don't need or want to lose weight. I eat a low GI diet. My last blood test came back perfect and my blood pressure/ heart rate is excellent. I have the discipline to keep doing this but I wondered if anyone has any suggestions????

Sue
