Just wanted to stop by and say hello. I've spent a few days snoopin around before I actually registered .. lol ( hopefully thats allowed ;) )

Im here cuz .. well .. Im goin through that wonderful weight loss struggle like many others. lol ..

Quick stats ..

Female ~ 26 yrs old ... 5'2 and a half (lol) ... HW = 202 ~ CW = 180 ~ MGW = 165 (by April before we port out for our cruise) and GW = 150.

I went and spoke with a trainer last week and got my muscle/fat ratio. Right now they said Im at 114 lbs of muscle, 66 lbs of fat (blah), leaving the body fat % at 37.

I've pretty much always dealt with weight problems but Within about the last month or so I've really been trying to get my life in line and take control over this issue. I go to the gym at least 4 times a week ... doin no less than 30 minutes of cardio each day .. and weight training 2 of the 4 days. I was told to stay around 1700 calories a day .. having 5-6 meals/mini meals.

I guess Im here cuz I feel like Im stuck in a rut and Im begining to wonder if Im just not meant to go below 180!! :(
 
Hi Magiceyez- welcome to the forum. I too am 5'2" and a half...lol- every bit counts when you're this short! I'm looking to lose about 27 more pounds- I've lost about 3.5 since I started. If you really want it, you can do anything. Try starting a diary- this might help. Good luck.
 
hello! i've always believed that with perseverance and determination, nothing is impossible.. just put in ur best effort, and a little more.. hope u'll find lots of motivation in this forum to achieve ur goals! all the best to u =D
 
Thanks guys for all the kind words ... Im really hoping I'll see some changes this time before I get discouraged ~ lol.

Im sure hanging around here will help cuz I see so many others that are trying and getting wonderful results and success stories!!
